35th Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl Features Boston ‘Surivor’ Cast Members


This week the 35th Annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl – the nation’s largest all-you-can-eat ice cream festival – took over Boston’s City Hall Plaza for three straight days to serve up ice cream to thousands of hungry guests.  A Boston tradition, The Scooper Bowl serves up ice cream from the nation’s leading ice cream companies.  And while all of the ice cream companies involved are thrilled to support Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s mission and fundraising goals at this delicious event, the cause hit a little closer to home for one company in particular.  That’s because Vice Cream’s Owner Dan Schorr knows what it means to battle cancer head on. So he brought a few of his ‘Survivor’ friends to help demonstrate his passion for the cause and his own mission to live life and dig in!  NESN’s Dirty Water TV has the yummy – and inspiring – details!
