Beneath The Sheets, Forever Loud CD Release Party

The stage at T.T. The Bear’s in Cambridge’s Central Square has been a great place to see your favorite local bands for years. On Saturday June 7th the band Beneath The Sheets hosted their CD release party for their new album Forever Loud.  They performed for about a hundred diehard fans that bared the brunt of Tropical Storm Andrea.

Performing like the party band that they are, mixing up a concoction of pop, rock and punk with a slight twist of hip-hop. Their first single off the new album She’s Bad And She Knows It was a big hit.

After the show I was able to speak with the lead singer Evan Gills. Modestly he refused to be called the frontman and made it clear that their success so far has been a group effort. Albie Landry (guitar/vocals), Mykael Valley (guitar/vocals), Jeff Ferro (bass/vocals) and Austin Bryant (drums/samples) give it their all in the studio as well as on and off the stage. The producer Drew Thompson Hooke added new light to the finished product along with the help of Dan Korneff, Chris Gehringer and Doug Batchelder for their work on the album as well.

Beneath The Sheets debut their first album in 2009, “Go Easy, Its My First…” featured on MTV, VH1, E! and various music and extreme sports magazines including Amp and Steez. In 2011 they released their second album Welcome To The North Beats. Since then they have been performing at the most popular venues in the northeast including a sold out audience at the Wilbur Theater in Boston’s Theater District.

With the release of Forever Loud, BTS plan to play at every venue, party and festival they can in 2013. You can find their upcoming tour dates on facebook. On Saturday August 3rd, 2013 at 7:00 PM BTS will be performing a live show by the Boston Harbor at 1 Long Wharf, Boston, MA.
