“Number 63, Brad Marchand!”

Doesn’t have the same ring as old No. 4’s signature call but Marchand did his best Bobby Orr impression.

ICYMI, Thursday night against the Sabres, Marchand skated with the puck from the Bruins zone, went end-to-end and got around Buffalo defenseman Zach Bogosian. The scrappy forward was able to get off a backhander that slipped by Chad Johnson, the former Bruins backup netminder.

The Orr-like score — Marchand’s 23rd goal of the season to lead the club — tied the game at 2-2 early in the third period. The Bruins would win it in a shootout.
