5:30 – 7:30 pm

Buena Vista Pavilion, 50 Holland Street, Davis Square, Somerville, MA

Now in its 18th year, the Taste of Somerville brings together 60 + restaurants, breweries, and farms from our own backyards into the heart of Davis Square for an outdoor celebration of the city and all of its chefs and artisans.

Among the participants this year are craft beer brewers like Aeronaut Brewery, Winter Hill Brewing, American Fresh Brewhouse by Somerville Brewing, and Bantam Cider, alongside fine cuisine from the likes of favorites Bergamot, Bronwyn, Kirkland Tap and Trotter and dozens more. New this year are some of Somerville’s more exciting restaurants, like Tasting Counter, and Meju. For a full list of participants go to tasteofsomerville.org.

Once again the Taste of Somerville has partnered with a local charitable cause in the form of Somerville CAN. Somerville CAN, sponsored by the Community Action Agency of Somerville, is a collaboration of 11 local organizations that work independently and in partnership to feed the hungry, train and educate vulnerable youth, improve health and eliminate racism. Last year’s event, which served 1,100 guests, raised raised over $50,000 for The Somerville Home.

Somerville CAN Members include: Community Action Agency of Somerville, Groundwork Somerville, Boys & Girls Club of Middlesex County, Respond, Inc., Somerville Community Access Television, Somerville Community Corporation, Somerville Home, Somerville Homeless Coalition, Somerville Local First, Second Chances, and The Welcome Project.

Tickets are $50 for general admission, and $75 for VIP, which will include exclusive restaurant options like Tasting Counter and craft cocktails from some of the city’s best bartenders.
