Last week, Boston’s Hollywood Homeboys Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and New England Patriots QB Tom Brady launched a fundraiser to benefit their respective charities.  The video campaign immediately went viral and commanded worldwide attention.

Boston’s legendary comedians Tony V., Lenny Clarke and Steve Sweeney believe it will be far more entertaining to hang out with them. Frankly, we agree!

Which got us here at Dirty Water Media thinking … what if we created a similar campaign focused on three of Boston’s funniest comedians.  What if we produced a similar contest for one lucky Bostonian to spend the night with these three jokers – legendary Boston comedians Tony V., Lenny Clarke and Steve Sweeney – over a few laughs, pizza, beer and a Bruins game at the Garden. Imagine the money we could raise for one of Boston’s most revered charities, The Joey Fund.”

So we decided to produce our own video spotlighting their dashing good looks – they shine from the inside – and home spun humor as a way to encourage donors to contribute $10 for a chance to win dinner at The Greatest Bar and tickets to the Boston Bruins with them in late October. Sure, it’s not as cool as hanging with Damon, Affleck and Brady … but the chances of winning this prize are significantly better and it’s guaranteed to be a lot funnier.

Pledge $10 to benefit The Joey Fund – 100% of the proceeds from this campaign will go directly to this great organization – and before you know it, you could be hanging with these three jokers.

Tony V., Lenny Clarke and Steve Sweeney taped the fundraising video at Giggles in Saugus, Massachusetts.

What do you have to lose?  A night out with these three means you’ll be taking home some pretty amazing stories and maybe even some life-long friends.  Go ahead, make your $10 pledge now! Anyone who makes a $10 donation between now and October 19, 2016 is automatically entered to win this awesome prize!  The winner will be announced right here on on October 20, 2016!

The Joey Fund works in partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is an independent fund established in November 1986 in memory of Joey O’Donnell, a courageous fighter and victim of cystic fibrosis.  Quite a worthy cause and one that Boston can feel good about supporting!
