Harvest’s Famous Doughnut Pop-Up Is Back!


Executive Pastry Chef Joshua Livsey and the team at Harvest will host a Halloween-themed doughnut pop-up on October 31 at Harvest. The Doughnut Pop-Up Arrives at Harvest with Halloween Inspired Creations
No tricks, just treats from Harvest’s Executive Pastry Chef Joshua Livsey on Halloween this year! Livsey and his talented team will be serving up Halloween-themed doughnut specials for one day only at Harvest.
The box of is $13 for four donuts (plus tax) and include the following flavors:
· There’s Peanut Butter in my Chocolate – peanut butter cup
· Tasting the Rainbow – Skittles
· Twicks or Treat – Twix
· Poison Apple – Apple Cider
Orders must be placed in advance by calling Harvest at 617-868-2255 starting Friday, October 23 through Thursday, October 29. Pick up will be on Saturday, October 31st from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

This weekend, Chef Mike’s Cucina offers safe, socially distanced & delicious Halloween with pumpkin biscotti treats for kids. Highlights include pumpkin biscotti treats for each child and new autumn menu
Children and their families are invited to celebrate a safe, socially distanced and delicious Halloween on Saturday night at Chef Mike’s Cucina in Needham (73 Highland Ave., 781-675-2950).
Children can dress up in their costumes to meet friends and enjoy Chef Mike’s outdoor dining space. Each child in costume will be treated to Chef Mike Fucci’s handmade pumpkin biscotti. Halloween at Chef Mike’s with pumpkin biscotti treats is open to all children and their families starting at 4 p.m. Saturday.  Families are also invited to enjoy take-out from Chef Mike’s hearty, family-friendly Italian inspired fare.
Kids meals include: Hand-breaded chicken fingers, Pasta and meatballs or pasta with butter & cheese, Mac & cheese
The new seasonal menu includes specials such as: Homemade gnocchi with basil marina, butter sage, gorgonzola or pumpkin, Pumpkin risotto with creamy rice and fresh pumpkin, Classic arancini with rice, cheese, peas and a side of marinara.

Puritan & Company Hosts Seventh Annual Harvest Dinner at Home


Puritan & Co. Offers a Taste of Autumn’s Bounty to Enjoy at your Own Home!
Puritan & Co. Chef/Owner Will Gilson exhibits his culinary talent by paying homage to Harvest season with a multi-course meal focusing on Fall Flavors available for takeout or delivery this weekend.

Puritan & Company in Inman Square offers guests a taste of the cuisine that is inspired by the bounty of New England’s local farms with a four course, prix-fixe dinner available for curbside pickup or delivery on October 30th and 31st. Ordering is open now on toasttab.com through Friday, October 30th and the meal is $55 per person with an add on option of $45 with wine pairings for two and apple cider and brandy pairings for two for $20.

1st: local cheeses with fall preserves, house pickles, rye crackers.
2nd: harvest squash bisque with vadouvan oil, candied sunflower seeds.
3rd: dry-aged pork chop with salt baked apple, parsnip, carrots, cider.
4th: pumpkin tart with brown butter, roasted pumpkin, juniper cream, pepitas

Spooky Treats With Flour Love

Every week Chang picks a new – typically seasonal – recipe, then she and her team at Flour Bakery + Café pack up all the ingredients in handy and easily pick-up-able or shippable packages so you can make the week’s highlighted baked good on your own at home. Victory Point Pumpkin Patch & Harvest Menu

It’s the Victory Point Pumpkin Patch and Harvest menu – a perfect family-friendly way to celebrate the sights and flavors of a seaside autumn in New England right here in Quincy.
The pumpkin patch arrives at Victory Point (332 Victory Road) on Wednesday (Oct. 28), featuring hay bales, corn stalks, mums and of course pumpkins from local farmers. Perfect place for an autumn selfie or family photo!
Executive Chef Pino Maffeo introduces his harvest menu on Thursday (Oct. 29), featuring locally grown produce, grass-fed beef and honey from Charles River Farm, Stillman’s Farms, Stony Creek Farm and Golden Rule honey (all of Massachusetts) and maple cocktails featuring syrup from Ackermnan’s Farm of Vermont.

This event is a collaboration with Victory Point’s friends from the Quincy Farmers Market.
