National Margarita Day is celebrated every year on Feb 22. This year it falls on a Saturday, which creates an even better reason to make the celebration last all weekend long! We deeply respect and value the Margarita’s place in history so we honor this sacred tequila lime drink with an article that lists most – if not all – of the ways you can celebrate National Margarita Day in Boston this year!

Mija Cantina & Tequila Bar Boston’s premier authentic and uniquely elegant Mexican restaurant is located at the entrance to Quincy Market in the world famous Faneuil Hall. It’s the perfect location to celebrate National Margarita day, a tasty lunch or a romantic night out. They serve only the freshest food – made from scratch in their kitchen – from their warm corn tortillas to delectable tres leches cake for dessert. Their signature guacamole is prepared table side in a molcajete, a traditional volcanic rock mortar that produces superior flavor. With over 150 different tequilas, they offer the widest selection of quality tequilas in New England. In honor of National Margarita Day, Mija will be featuring their annual Build-Your-Own Margarita Bar this Saturday 12-8pm!  They’ll also be serving up 4 featured margaritas – Passionfruit, Kiwi, Green Apple and Blood Orange – to celebrate all week long!
