The Tradition – hosted by the New England Sports Museum – is an annual event that honors the best in Boston sports with a star studded event at TD Garden. This year the event honored Johnny Damon, Bill Rodgers, Lawyer Milloy, Chantè Bonds, Jillian Dempsey, M.L. Carr, and Mark Recchi. The night started with a cocktail reception on the arena floor where guests mixed and mingled while enjoying great food and drink. Following the cocktail reception, a talk-show style program – that aired on NESN – was held for all honorees to share in- depth and personal stories about their careers.
