The team at Puritan & Company is hosting a one-time-only soft serve pop-up on July 9th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The creamy ice cream will be served from the space next to the restaurant for $5, with homemade toppings available for an additional $0.50 each.

Farmer’s market berries
Rainbow and chocolate sprinkles
Brownie pieces

Get ready to rumble! Chef/owner Will Gilson and the Puritan & Company team are hosting their second annual Rose Rumble, next Wednesday, July 13th, with two ticketed sessions (5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.). Wine director Peter Nelson will offer a variety of roses for guests to taste and learn about while they nosh on bites from the kitchen.

Food doesn’t just go with wine. Chef Joe Carli of Posto and Firestone Walker Brewing Company of Paso Robles, CA invite guests to “explore and experience the many possibilities of pairing foods with craft beer or cider” at their dinner series that kicks off on Wednesday, July 13th at 6:30 p.m.

Chef Carli will offer a five course tasting menu with beer and cider pairings, each described by Jason Hollander from Firestone Walker.

First Course
Corn Budino – Pecorino Toscano, Grilled Ciabatta, Oregano
Beer pairing: Easy Jack, Session IPA

Second Course
Open-Face B.E.L.T. – Wild Boar Pancetta, Fried Egg, Arugula, Heirloom Tomato

Pizza Course
Wood Fired Corn Pizza – Grilled Summer Corn, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Fontina, Jalepeno, Asiago
Beer pairing: STiVO, Keller Pils; a collaboration with Russian River Brewing Company

Chicken Balontine – Shaved Zucchini, Summer Squash, Fresh Tomato Sauce
Beer pairing: Luponic Distortion #002, American IPA

Brownie Sundae – Burnt Sugar Gelato, Chocolate Gelato
