Before Hanley Ramirez was tuning you out, he was apparently was tuning in.
After the embattled Ramirez belted home run No. 6 on the season Wednesday night, he had a message for the haters when he got back to the dugout.
“Talk is cheap,” the flexing Ramirez motioned to the cameras. “I’ve got heart.”
“I don’t think that was called for,” NESN analyst Steve Lyons said after the game. When Ramirez wasn’t asked the incident postgame, Lyons said, “Obviously he was a little upset about the way the media had been treating him, and the media didn’t have the guts to ask him what the problem was.”
If I didn't know any better, I'd say that Hanley Ramirez was tuned into the @ZoandBertrand program today. pic.twitter.com/8P6UDAb6hi
