Hibachi on the Seacoast

Kume Japanese Steakhouse

Everyone knows that going out to eat is the perfect excuse to get together with friends and enjoy a night out.(Who doesn’t love an excuse to not have to cook dinner for yourself?)

I recently discovered Kume, a Japanese steakhouse specializing in hibachi & sushi, and scorpion bowls. (Seriously, who doesn’t love a good scorpion bowl?) Hibachi restaurants are particularly awesome restaurants to go to with friends because of the live entertainment provided by the chefs on the Teppanyaki (hibachi grill). From onion volcanoes to the infamous Sake shots, spending your night at a hibachi table surrounded by all your friends is guaranteed to be a great time.

For those of you who might be more interested in a quieter night, Kume also offers a sushi bar setting on the opposite half of the restaurant with intimate booths and low lights. Their sushi is so fresh and always presented in such an artistic way, its hard to resist snapping a picture and putting it on instagram. Hashtag awesome.

Kume is located in the up in coming Brickyard Square in Epping, New Hampshire. (20 minutes from Portsmouth and Manchester)

Give it a try if you’re in the area, I guarantee you won’t regret it!
