News came out Tuesday afternoon that Bruins center Patrice Bergeron will be sidelined for at least two weeks with a fractured right foot.

Bergeron’s fracture came in the first period of Saturday nights game in Toronto. He had an X-Ray after the game Saturday night and results were negative. Bergeron being the warrior he is, played through the pain in Sunday’s loss at Buffalo.

A CT scan on Monday later revealed it was a foot fracture and he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Riley Nash is expected to jump up and center David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand for the time being.

Bergeron, who has 27 goals and 27 assists this season, is up for the Hart Trophy and his absence will definitely hurt this team.
