At South Boston’s Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar they say that a little crazy is a good thing. And when there’s authentic Mexican food, fresh oysters and top of the line tequila in the mix, things are sure to get a little loco.
This funky neighborhood taco joint in South is a the real deal. Since opening last winter they have created a huge following for their upscale South American venue that delivers global culinary techniques and flavors. The popularity of this funky venue can be attributed to Executive Chef Matt Drummond, who has a rich culinary background working in German, French and Italian restaurants. He came on board at Loco shortly after they opened and has been producing some crazy – dare we say loco – good bites ever since.
The success of this venue can be seen in the celebrities who come in in droves to experience Loco Taqueria and the crowds that flock to this happening joint practically every night.
