Margaritas’ BIG Celebration For National Taco Day

National Taco Day (Tuesday, October 4th) is coming fast and all participating Margaritas Mexican Restaurants are celebrating with a special, 12-inch, 2 pound Taco Gigante ($12.99, with $2.00 of every purchase donated to Team IMPACT), available now until October 31st.

The Taco Gigante features a mammoth shell that’s filled to its crispy edges with Mexican deliciousness: seasoned chicken, taco beef, pork carnitas, bacon, lettuce, refried beans, Mexican rice, salsa fresca, queso sauce, hacienda and picante sauces, crema, and pickled jalapeños. On National Taco Day only, participating Margaritas Mexican Restaurants will also offer guests who order the Taco Gigante a regular size taco for free.

Also on October 4th, select locations will host the Battle of the Badges, where local police and fire persons will compete to complete the Taco Gigante in the fastest time. The first team to finish the feast will receive $250 to donate to a charity of their choice, plus a free taco party for their department. The losing team will also get $100 to donate to a charity of their choosing.

Team IMPACT is a charitable organization that works to provide a life-changing experience for children with chronic & terminal illness. “Team IMPACT children are drafted onto college athletic teams and are a part of the team from Draft Day through to Graduation. The child joins the athletic team and the student athletes join the child’s support team. The child gains great strength, camaraderie and support and the student athletes are taught lessons about courage, resiliency and life perspective that they can’t learn in a classroom.” Visit goteamimpact.org for more information.
