It’s been an exciting few years for Meryl Davis and Charlie White. The ice dancers, partners for nearly two decades, broke world records in their free dance and short programs at the 2014 Olympic winter games, bringing home their life-long goal – a gold medal – the first ever for the U.S. in the sport’s history. Since then, White and Davis, competed on Dancing with the Stars just after their Olympic win – which Davis won. They have since been as busy off the ice as they have been on the ice. With a wedding – Charlie White wed fellow ice dancer Tanith Belbin last spring and Meryl sas a bridesmaid, a recent visit to China, and a children’s book in the works featuring two young skaters, Dirty Water Media Reporter Kylie McCoy sat down with the skaters over dinner at The Greatest Bar in Boston just before the due headed over to the TD Garden for the World Figure Skating Championships.
