Puritan & Company’s Chef/Owner Will Gilson and Pastry Chef Brian Mercury have created a special takeout Sunday Brunch menu. Starting today, Wednesday, May 20th, Puritan & Company guests can pre-order Sunday Brunch takeout or curbside pickup online at www.puritancambridge.com or by calling the restaurant at 617-615-6195.  Pickup is available on Sunday, May 24th from 10a until 2p. Puritan & Company is located at 1166 Cambridge Street in Inman Square.

The Brunch menu includes:

A Selection of Brian Mercury’s Pastries- $4 Each

A Selection of Breakfast Sandwiches

Red Flannel Hash with Eggs

Spinach and Feta Quiche

Bagels with Pastrami Lox and Cream Cheese

Buttermilk Biscuit with Nutella or Jam

Breakfast Potatoes

Sides of Bacon and Sausages

The modern-American dining destination pays homage to New England history and the restaurant’s neighborhood. The Puritan & Company concept is that of an urban farmhouse where Gilson presents seasonal, fresh cuisine deeply rooted in New England tradition, while in the modern American style for which he is best known. Gilson presents touches of his familial hospitality and their passion for herbs sprinkled throughout the dining experience at Puritan & Company. Everything from the material, to the color scheme, to the host stand (a repurposed antique stove from the 1920’s), to the menu (stuffies, hard tack crackers, and Puritan Cake) all have special meaning and transport guests from Cambridge back to the Puritan time.

One of the founders of Dirty Water Media, Julie Fairweather serves as the company’s managing editor, marketing director and contributing writer/producer. In addition to her work with Dirty Water Media, Julie is also an award-winning journalist with 20+ years experience developing marketing and public relations strategies for emerging businesses. She also taught broadcast journalism and radio and television producing at her alma mater Emerson College in Boston, MA. Her most accomplished position is as the mother to her three amazing children.
