The “Springtime in Alsace” event is going to be launched by their very own Chef Michael Serpa where they will be serving a special wine menu including their favorite producer, Trimbach. Available while supplies last.

The Grand Tour is a cozy spot inspired by Joie de vivre of the neighborhood bistros in Paris, France. This restaurant is tucked away on Newbury Street in the Back Bay of Boston and has a petite, sleek venue where the atmosphere is capable of transporting you to a different place. It great to enjoy a leisurely European style lunch, date night, a casual bite at the bar, or even a rendezvous with friends over a bottle of wine.

Chef and partner Michael Serpa has been involved in restaurant life since he was a child. Coming from a family of Cuban Chefs, he spent his childhood summers at his father’s Miami restaurant. He has worked at many different restaurants throughout his life and has even opened his own right here in Boston’s Back Bay, Select Oyster Bar, which has received both local and national press. His focus is on genuine hospitality, top quality products, and casually elegant spaces. He has created Serpa Hospitality which is a collection of the local restaurants in Boston from Serpa and his team.

The special wine menu being offered at The Grand Tour event will feature one of Serpa’s all-time favorite wine producers, Trimbach. There will be four Trimbach wines being offered by the glass. An easygoing Pinot Blanc, Benchmark Riesling, an under-the-radar but bistro-friendly Pinot Noir, and Serpa’s personal favorite Riesling Cuvée Frèdéric Emile. Interested in wine by the bottle? They’ve got that too. Pinot Gris Reserve and three different Grand Cru Rieslings which include Geisberg, Scholossber, and the iconic Clos Ste. Hune. You’ve got to try their Alsatian classic and quintessential bar snack that is being offered. Tarte Flambée which is also known as Flammenkuchen, this crisp flatbread is topped with créme Fraîche, bacon lardons and onions. YUM!

Trimbach is a historic family-owned winery in Ribeauvilé, France. They have been making wine in Alsace since 1626! They definitely know a thing or two about making wine. Trimbach is known for some of their worlds best Rieslings, and their Grand Cru Clos Ste. Hune which I mentioned previously is best of the best. You have got to give it a try if you have not already done so.
