The Service Industry Steps Up for a Great Cause

Chefs from Cambridge eateries are teaming up to help their neighbors affected by the devastating 10-alarm fire that happened earlier this month.


Local chefs are teaming up to raise money for the Cambridge Mayor’s Fire Relief Fund, to help the 125 people that were affected by a devastating 10-alarm fire in East Cambridge, that damaged 16 buildings, earlier this month.

Chefs from Puritan & Company, the Blue Room/Belly, Commonwealth, Craigie on Main, Little Donkey and BISq are joining together this Sunday, December 18th, from 6pm to 9pm, to host “Cambridge Chefs for Fire Relief,” a dine-around holiday reception to raise funds for the victims who lost their homes and possessions.

Tickets ($100) include all food and drink, and all proceeds go directly to the Cambridge Mayor’s Fire Relief Fund. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit
