The flourishing Celtics have been Boston’s story of the winter. With most of their roster young and healthy they have catapulted themselves into the top of the standings in the Eastern Conference. Brad Stevens has a great bunch of young players and the C’s are finally relevant again.
David Lee, a two time all star, was signed by the Celtics this offseason for one year, $15.5 million. He was 32-years-old and the C’s needed help on the glass. However, Lee fell out of favor with Stevens before even really becoming a part of the rotation. Boston become overstocked at his position and decided to place him on waivers.
With Lee departing Boston after being picked up by the Mavericks, it leaves a Boston legend without a tenant.
David Lee had been living in Tom Brady’s condo in Boston at 310 Beacon Street, Unit 2, a 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath spread over 2,450 square feet and including one garaged parking space. It also comes fully furnished. And now it can by yours for only $15,000 per month as first reported by the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe.
So, if you’ve got a thick wallet and plenty of cash in the bank, Tom Terrific might have a new place for you. Hopefully the agreement doesn’t mean sharing the same cook with Brady or you’ll have to live without sugar, carbs, caffeine, and dairy.
The best part? When there’s no hot water in the house, you can pick up the phone and call the greatest quarterback of all time to come over to fix it. Or at least Ben Rawitz.
